Foundation Seeks Executive Director

The Camden Schools announced that it is conducting a search for its next part-time Executive Director. Dawn Epstein, the current leader of the Foundation, will be transitioning into a full-time roll at another organizations in the coming months.

Executive Director

Responsibilities
Manage daily operations of the foundation, working with committees and interns to oversee all aspects of the organization including fundraising, finance, board relations, event planning, data management, marketing, communications, etc.

Secure sponsorships and fundraising partnerships from Camden businesses, corporations, foundations, and other philanthropic partners reaching annual revenue targets of $220,000 growing to $300,000+ in the next few years.

Administer CSF’s signature scholarship program, special project fund, and other grants communicating with students, Camden City School District leadership, and foundation partners.

Build relationships with key community partners including school district staff, city and county elected officials, and other prominent members of the community.

Manage board of trustees and volunteers. Plan and run monthly board meetings and yearly annual meeting. Oversee committees and ensure they are delivering on their responsibilities.

With the help of the committees, plan and execute two signature fundraising events (Golf Outing and Hall of Fame Dinner) as well as the annual scholarship reception and other events as needed.

Hire, manage, and mentor social media and marketing interns.

Qualifications
Experience in nonprofit management, fundraising, education, marketing, or similar field.
Affinity for the city of Camden

Additional Information
This position is part-time and approximately 20 hours per week. The position is fully remote but requires regular travel into Camden and the Camden County area for Foundation meetings and to conduct Foundation business. The salary range for this position is $26,000-$36,000 per year depending on experience.
